Since then we've worked in finance across hospitality, auto services and manufacturing, backed by an MBA in finance and earlier corporate finance experience. Today we also run our own recycling business.

We figured it out, leased the building to a diesel mechanic who ran his shop there for five years, and later sold it on a triple-net lease for three times what we paid. That's the kind of lesson a spreadsheet can't teach — and it's how we look at every business we buy.
